Renewable Energy Upgrade Grants
The Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland (SEAI) offer grants for Air-to-Water and Geothermal as well as for PV (Photovoltaic) Solar Panels.
Heat Pump System Grant Values
To avail of the grant:
→ All homeowners, including landlords, whose homes were build and occupied before 2021 can apply. This is defined as the date your electricity meter was installed.
→ To qualify your home must be well insulated and have low heat loss.
→ Have a technical assessment carried out on your home prior to applying (grant of €200 available)
PV Panal Grant Values
To avail of the grant:
All homeowners, including landlords, whose homes were built and occupied before *2011 can apply. This is defined as the date your electricity meter was installed.
*The SEAI and currently updating their systems to meet the requirements set out in the Micro-generation Support Scheme. They expect this to be ready by late Feb 2022.
